Klaus offers an easy-going smile, despite the fact he knows it's a little surprising to have a knife floating in front of you. He's got real good control over it though, so if Jim's worried about getting injured, he needn't panic. And hey, if he does accidentally get hurt, isn't it convenient that he's able to heal things, too?
Rather than respond verbally, there's a slight nod then he steps aside, giving Jim all the room he needs, expression lifting with astonishment as he instantaneously throws the knife without so much as a second thought. Well, to be fair, he did say ‘fast,’ after all. The knife sticks, falters then hits the ground a few moments later, making Klaus snap his fingers in disappointment.
“True that.” Then he floats the knife over again, closes his fingers around the handle once it's within his reach. “Funny thing about knife-throwing? Being fast is only important when you're life's in danger. Slow and steady wins the race, you know? Even when you might wanna go hard and fast.”
