Sad things can be just as beautiful at times. Funerals often are. Remembering someone who's gone forever, while making it a beautiful ceremony as a way to say good by. This is exactly what that is.
"We all want to be remembered in some way," he murmurs softly. Even if he doesn't believe there's anything beyond death, knowing that he's left something important behind, something meaningful to someone, even if it's just a memory or a smile, that's good enough.
"I didn't have much of value to offer," he confesses in a small voice. "I brought... flowers that I bloomed with my abilities. And a book with poetry." Still, it doesn't feel like nearly enough.
