"Wood offers a warmth that stone cannot," Wei Wuxian agrees, hitting at part of the reason he finds most buildings in Asgard so unbecoming. Not only are most shaped like big boxes with windows, they're nearly all made of stone, unwelcoming and stodgy in appearance.

"He is here, yes," Wei Wuxian says of Lan Wangji. "He has suffered deep unfairness in his life. He deserves something nice, and he would never ask for it. Fortunately Wei Wuxian is not given to asking permission."
