He hums, his lips curling into a wider smile of his own. He doesn't quite pull back, though he does fix his eyes on hers, biting on his lower lip.

"Or... we could go back to the ship. There's probably no one there, at this hour."

Everyone seems to be at the party, anyway... and Jim definitely wouldn't say no to some alone time with Mary, either. Particularly when she seems just as interested.
