"Excellent," Mary says with a wry smile. "I'm quite certain that you'll do a wonderful job of warming me up."

She glances up to see a line forming at her tea cauldron. "I ought to get back to work," she tells him with a sigh. "I'll see you at dinner tonight?"

As it usually is at the beginning of a relationship, Mary wants to spend most of her free time with him. She hopes that he finds it cute and not annoying.
