"Most sleeping arrangements at the god houses are pretty bad, I'll give you that," he agrees. "I shared a room at the Academy, but even then it was just me and my roommate, and he was my best friend."

And as much as he likes Bones, he does appreciate having his own space. He does vastly prefer waking up next to Mary, but it's maybe for the best they're not rushing into the whole actually moving in together. This works well for them for the time being, and he's pretty pleased that Mary's happy with it too.

"I built it and you helped decorate it, so," he shrugs. "Team effort. And you know if you ever want to change anything here... it's your home too."
