Cruel though it may be, it's still a valid concern. Although, having fought with the viking himself, Jim can say with certainty that the fact he can't use his legs doesn't actually change much of anything. But what matters is that Mary doesn't have to worry about that anymore.

"Wish I could see it too," he smiles a little, voice fond. He wouldn't really want to live there, as much as he cares for Mary he knows it would all be just a little too much, but if there was a chance for him to somehow visit the place, he would absolutely take it.

"Wish I could show you where I come from too. It'd be pretty wild to you, but I'd like to shared that with you, anyway."
