Stephen leans in to reply as though they're sharing secrets, amused. "In my experience, the only thing that sets a god apart from mortals is the power. Doesn't mean they have anything extra special going on up here," he says, tapping the side of his head.

"I'm Stephen," he adds, sitting up a little and offering a hand. "It sounds like I would have been helpful here, if only I could do more than summon a magic house cat."
