Castle Felicity was only there because she was led, and in too much of a daze to protest against the colored-lady who told her to follow. She kept touching the bracelets with their dark red jewels, kept pinching herself to make sure she wasn't still asleep-but the bracelets felt real and so did the pinching. That could only mean all of this was real, that these people were real and everything, but that didn't answer the question of why she was even here.
Someone offered a plate of various goblets, and she accepted something to drink so as to be polite, but she turned down the offer of food. She was too distracted and in her own head to even think about food, too busy looking at how strange everyone was dressed (then again, perhaps she was the strange one).
She remained standing, trying to appear braver than she felt on the inside. She didn't have her family with her this time, she'd have to have courage for herself-for once.
The game The city wide game sounded almost like a fair of sorts, certainly everything was dressed and decorated like a fair. Normally the thought of a game cheered her up, but the rules for finding these coins seemed more of a hindrance than actual help. She didn't even know this place, let alone well enough to search for hidden coins.
She decided to stay in the Tyr district. Sometimes, the best place to hide something was in plane sight as they said. She just needed to find someone with a map first.
