She shrugs slightly as Jim moves the conversation on from society in general to her hobbies. "I read as well. I also enjoy riding my horse and going shopping. None of that is terribly exciting, I suppose."

As she's told people before, the life of an Earl's daughter can be rather boring. Most of their young adult life is spent courting a husband, and then after they get married, they're expected to be a wife and raise children. There isn't a lot of time for freedom or exploration.

"I also help run my family's estate, though that's more of a job than a hobby," she says.
